Results Week 21 2012

The Port A Carraig singles stableford was the latest competition in the Player of the Year, and Hugh Doherty (11) earned his first victory of the year with 42 points. Back to back birdies the third and fourth were accompanied by a further birdie at the thirteenth. The runner up was John McLaughlin (17) with 39 points, and third after break of tie was John Donaghy (20) on 38 points. Other prizes were collected by Paul Ferguson (gross), Edmund McAllister (front nine) and Barney Boyle (back nine). As a result of these scores, the Player of the Year looks like this. 1^st John McLaughlin 48pts, 2^nd Sean McQuillan 42pts, 3^rd Barney Boyle 36pts, 4^th Hugh Craig, Colm Doherty and Frank Kelly 34pts.
