Rakes In Bunkers / Rakes Outside Bunkers?
There are no rules regarding where to leave rakes for bunkers. There are recommendations provided by the R & A, but it is for each club to decide as they wish, depending on their own situations. Our greens committee have decided that rakes should be returned to and left in the bunker after you have played your shot.Competitions
Chip – In and Win
The club is running a prize draw and it is somewhat suitable titled Chip – In and Win. Posters are erected in the clubhouse, and here is the summary of what it entails. There are three major prizes of five, three and one years membership of the club. There will be a further 10 prizes of €100, which equates to getting your money back. The draw will take place on the night of the Captains Drive In 2013. All participants must have contributed €100 to be in the draw, and this amount can be paid up using the envelopes specially printed up for the draw. The prizes are transferable, and there is no cash alternative for the three winners of the main prizes. Life Membership of the club is still available for those interested. Each quotation is unique to the individual concerned. If you are interested, please contact the honorary secretary Danny Lynch.
